I came across glass art by accident, looking for something at my local arts centre. One term led to another and another..... By now things are emerging from the kiln which I'm pleased with. (even if they aren't always the things I imagined they might be). I love the way glass works; its unpredictability and its contradictory nature (fluid yet solid, strong yet brittle)
It can be used to create so many things: pendants, pictures, bowls, tiles, sculpture….. I live right beside a piece of Australian bush (tucked into suburbia) which is a wonderful source of inspiration. Dorothy-Jane - The turtle of Turtle Dreams.
